A few words about Meryem

Young French Soprano, citizen of the world with Mediterranean and Scandinavian heritage. She strongly believes “Music is the Universal language of Peace and Kindness and we all need it so much”, her goal is to resonate it and reach the abstract definition of beauty and kindness.

Meryem first studied Piano and has a music degree from The National Conservatoire of Music in Tunis. A few year later she decided to study Vocal Arts in Paris and took many lessons with professor Mary Saint Palais.

After her bachelor level in vocal arts, she followed an independent academic path and took various international masterclasses and lessons such as the Savonlinna Summer Academy in Finland with Professors Konrad Jarnot and Topi Lehtipuu, Summer courses at the Copenhagen Royal Academy of Music, Voksenåsen Summer Academy in Norway with Professors Randi Stene and Sunanna Eken, the Berlin Opera Academy with Professors David Wakeham and Capucine Chiaudani , the Henfenfel Schloss Operakademie or in paris with Robert Expert. She now keeps regular track of the evolution of her voice with her wonderful coach Capucine Chiaudani.

She also sang in choirs and had the opportunity in the past to work with the Philharmonie de Paris Chamber Choir with conductors Daniel Harding and Thomas Hengelbrock, or with at the time young choir OTrente with conductors Raphael Pichon and Marc Korovitch, and for many years had the opportunity to tour various baroque festivals like Festival De La Chaise Dieu in France with Ensemble Le Palais Royal and Jean Philippe Sarcos.

She currently performs as a freelance soloist (or sometimes within a vocal ensemble) in recitals, chamber music, ensembles and Symphonic or Philharmonic orchestras. Her latest performances include the Symphonic Orchestra Of Carthage and in august 2021, she performed the role of the Suor Infirmiera in the Suor Angelica opera by Puccini with the Berlin Opera Academy at the OpernFest in Kandersteg Switzerland.
